An ABC News/Washington Post Poll indicates that more people now disapprove of George W. Bush's handling of the US campaign against terrorism than approve, 50%-47%. This used to be Bush's only strong suit politically, and it appears he is losing this one too.
And in what must be a terrible blow for right-wing pundits, more Americans now say they trust the Democratic Party to do a better job in fighting terror than the GOP, 46%-38%.
America, perhaps, is beginning to see the light.
