Merry Christmas!

At the risk of being politically incorrect, may I wish you a very happy and joyous Christmas season, regardless of what traditions you celebrate (or ignore). What is important, I think, is not what traditions, customs, behaviors, attitudes, set us apart from one another, but what attitudes, values (there--I said the "V" word), behaviors, customs, traditions, say about what is universal in the human spirit.

One of the things I believe is universal in the human spirit is a natural curiosity and the resultant desire to pursue truth. May the New Year find you filled with a fire to pursue truth, and may God grant you the wisdom and love to use truth wisely.

Peace,
Peter
