This is really unbelievable, and it is tempting to underplay the importance of this. Many (like Howie) will either support this move, or say "hey--it's no big deal." But this cuts just exactly to the heart of the Constitution's separation clause.
If you want to throw people out of your "church" on the basis of their politics, fine. Some "church," if you ask me. But you'd better not have Federal Tax Exemption. You're not getting MY tax dollars to be a private club, friends.
By the way, Howie--they're trying to change the very definition of science back in Kansas. Thanks again.
